कृष्णौत
कृष्णौत अहीर[१] या किशनौत अहीर[२] (अंग्रेज़ी: Krishnaut or Kishnaut) भारत के बिहार, झारखंड और उत्तर प्रदेश जैसे राज्यों के कुछ हिस्सों में पाए जाने वाले हिंदू यादव (गोप) जाति का एक शासक वंश है।[३][४][५] कृष्णौत शब्द भगवान कृष्ण से उनके वंश को दर्शाता है,[६] जो यादवों के वृष्णि वंश में जन्मे थे।[७]
वे उत्तरी और पूर्वी बिहार में बड़े जमींदारों के रूप में पहचाने जाते हैं।[८]
इतिहास[सम्पादन]
कृष्णौत यादव नेपाल से स्थलांतरित हो कर पूर्वी भारत में बसे थे।
नेपाल के महान गोपाल वंश के शासक कृष्णौत यादव थे। कृष्ण ने नारायणी सेना के गोप सैनिकों की सहायता से बाणासुर को पराजित करके अपने पोते अनिरुद्ध को नेपाल का राजा बनाया था।[९][१०]
कृष्णौत यादवों के पास तिनतंगा एस्टेट, परसादी एस्टेट, खुसरुपुर और हाथी जमींदारी जैसी जमींदारियां थी।[११]
संस्कृति[सम्पादन]
कृष्णौत यादव बीर कुँअर व बख्तौर बाबा को अपने देवता के रूप में पूजते हैं। वे बिहार में लोरीकायन गाते हैं।[१२][१३][१४] ज्यादातर कृष्णौत यादव किसान होते हैं।[१५]
